Trey Gowdy is someone that I would refer to as a career politician. Someone who tells different audiences what they want to hear, even if it contradicts what he has said.
Gowdy talks about creating jobs in South Carolina and booming our economy but he provides no specific answer as to how he plans to do that if elected. He speaks the same message that so many other career politicians speak and it makes me sick to my stomach. Paul Corden, however had specific answers and even supplied examples such as how people who were publicly opposed to the Health care reform bill secretly reap the benefits of the reform.
Paul Corden is definitely my choice and I honestly I wasn't sure as to who I was going to vote for but now I know. I'm an independent voter, so I don't play politics. If the (r) candidate is the better fix, I will vote for him, however if he is not, he will not get my vote.
